The backsplash is white tile with various fruit tiles mixed in. Replace cabinet hardware. The only change we made was the flooring -- I loved the white/green tiles (vinyl flooring), but they were yellowed. When we moved in 9 years ago, the cabinets got a fresh coat of Fortunately, the folks at Lowes Hardware were very accommodating and let us pick out another floor (light brown/pebble look) and we only had to pay a small amount to have it replaced. The other change was the dishwasher -- NO, we didn't replace it - but it was black on the front and stuck out like a sore thumb. On the panels of the dishwasher were different "inserts" -- we chose to go with the white one instead....

  I removed all of the cabinet hinges off of the kitchen cabinets, lined tape around all of the edges of wall, appliance, etc. that I didn't want to get paint on, primed all of the cabinets, and primed all of the cabinet doors.   I also spray painted all of the cabinet hinges because apparently,   There are lots of things on my home improvement to-do list, however, so I headed home to get some stuff taken care of.   I got a shitload done today.   I got up at 6:15 to go to work to fill in for one of my co-workers, only to find out that she had never requested the day off.   It was her day, so she was totally entitled to it.   She had initially left, but the office manager called her back.   Somebody at the front desk screwed up.   So I worked a grand total of 1:15 min....
