Can dried grout be removed from a black granite sink?
I have a black granite kitchen sink, and just got a small amount of grout on it while doing a tile kitchen back splash. I have tried scrubbing it out, but there is still a white streak when it dries. Is there any way to get this out? Maybe some kind
Muriatic acid will take it off. Try vinegar first. Grout is largely gypsum which is almost entirely calcium carbonate, a base or alkaline. Acid will dissolve it. Granite is a hard, igneous rock. I'm pretty sure acid won't hurt it. Vinegar is a weak acetic
