 This meant we had to wait until 3pm to catch the train/bus combo which would get us to the Marriott. Cue the RIOT POLICIA running through the train station with their riot shields and loads of police cars outside the train station with sirens a blazing. Arriving in Rome was unlike any other city we have traveled to.  Our train pulled in on Friday, some time after noon and we were in the middle of sorting out which public transportation combination would get us to our Marriott (this hotel was not...  All of a sudden, the gates of the train station went up, there was shouting and we learned they were closing ALL modes of public transportation for the next 2 hours.  Luckily, the gates that went up...

We're going to lay large (12x24") rectangle tiles in a brick pattern throughout the master bathroom and closet, and tile the entire vanity wall with the glass accent tile. As for the bathroom tile, I love the beige (neutral choice for resale too) but the grey tile is nice also. Congrats on scoring granite for $39 sq. ft. Last year, I went to Lowes and paid $42 a sq. ft. for solid surface countertops with an integrated sink. I've always dreamed about having a cool grey and white bathroom and I was absolutely smitten with this pair. However, the finished product is going to be gorgeous. I love the look of the modern bamboo pattern on the floors.
