She taught me to value myself…I thank my Mom for all of the wonderful morals, ethics and values she helped instill in me. Mom, thanks for being you. Since I was a little girl, I would wake up in the morning, run to bathroom and watch my mom put on her makeup every day for work. What have I learned from my mother. She might not know to this day, but she taught me more through her daily actions than anything. As I think back to my childhood, my mother was an example of providing for her family… I lost my mother, Judy Henderson, two months ago to an aggressive form of uterine cancer. She taught me how to stand up for myself in any situation. She taught me confidence in how she walked and carried herself....

Inspired by my fellow bloggers at Sarsm’s Blog and The Laughing Housewife , who themselves were inspired by the Day Zero Project , I’m taking on 101 tasks in 1001 days. Lots of things I’d like to start working on, but I never start. Most new year’s resolutions don’t get completed because people don’t write them down.
