The back side of the cabinet becomes the bottom of the toy box and the cabinet door becomes the lid. The original top and bottom of the cabinet - which are now the sides of the toy box - needs to be finished off. Use a spray adhesive to do this - spray both the box and the carpet and let the glue dry for a few seconds (important to let dry). Add strips of 1x6 to the back of the cabinet on each end. Add rubber bumpers to the corners at the door opening to prevent pinched fingers. Turn a salvaged kitchen cabinet into a great place to store toys. You know the kind with a wrap around porch, they have a thing on them where it’s like a castle and beautiful woodwork through out the house, wood floors (yes I’ll let you walk on them in heels) with a HUGE (not that I like to cook but this way... So, I stay away from those stores, I should make a dream board and go to the stores, take a picture and put it on a dream board. They make the leg look longer and don’t cut off the flow of your legs, if you can understand what I’m saying. I’ll just say I’m trying to make up my mind or need a picture to see if it will fit in my HUGE house I just bought. No marble floors for me, makes the house sound hollow when you talk or walk through it. I think, they’d better wash themselves on delicate cycle, put themselves on me and THEN remove themselves at the end of the day :) …. They’re pretty but I like high cut intimates. Bikini’s too, I’m having a hellofatime finding a bikini that’s high cut. Incentive to stay in shape and it comes up under your hip bone and again, makes the leg look longer....
