How long does a cigar last without a humidor If left in the wrapper?
...Also what would you recocommend if I don't plan on smoking some for a few months: taking the cigars out of their wrappers and into a humidor; with the wrapper in the humidor; or just leave in the wrapper?
Always leave the cigars in their wrappers when in the humidor, unless you plan on using the same humidor for the same exact cigars forever. Otherwise the individual characteristics will mesh together. They will keep just as fresh in the wrapper as without.

How long can my cigars stay out of a humidor?
Just got a box of 25 Monte Cristo No. 1s. I need to get a humidor-how long will it take for my cigars to dry out if they remain in the sealed box wrapped in a plastic bag? Also-any advice for buying a humidor?
I initially put mine in the refridgerator, but was later informed not to do this. About the humidor, don't cheap out. You can waste a lot of money on excess, but don't get the cheapest one available. The main thing is to get one with a good natural seal

Rare, subtle notes but wimpy
And now with the rise and rise of specialist coffees and brewing techniques, the detailed dissemination of flavour profile has shifted to coffees. It's weak, even wimpy, by espresso standards, but for coffee wonks, it delivers a carnival of subtle flavours across the palate: jasmine, orange, earthy notes and a vegetal undertone which is the original taste of the green, unroasted bean. We've all learnt to laugh at wine writers' descriptions of fine wine: "dead blood cells", "cigar humidor" and "like licking ceramic tiles" are three of my favourites. $12 cuppa an elaborate brew |. Not just any coffees, but single origin, rare coffees from all but unheard of parts of the world. It tastes more like coffee-flavoured tea than traditional espresso, courtesy of its mild roasting.
It's raining outside, and a reasonably cold breeze
Yesterday was a working day, so I had gone to work and worked hard, and managed it well. I keep my cigars in a humidor saturated with brandy vapour. Until the day was done, and we had played ball well, and enjoyed ourselves, and no one knew the better. Today, the pain came home to roost like it owned me completely. It as a hard and raw pain, and I knew I was injured. I moved slowly, because I now respected it. I felt like Santiago in the book The Old Man and The But today I moved slowly. I knew I was hurt, but I focused on mastering the feeling. It was better this way. I would float in the surf and tell myself "Master it. Own it. Control it. Suppress it" And so I did....

I found it buried in the humidor tonight. I don’t even know if this cigar is made anymore. This is an old Pepin Garcia brand that is made in his Miami Shop. Makes me wish I had a few more of them.
