I had one installed last year for $500-$600 but didn't think much of it. They want $100 to come each year and check it out!

I would like to buy an In-Duct humidifier to add humidity to my whole house, but I wondered if in a dark, damp environment such as the humidifier, is it a haven for mold?
If so, is there a solution for this?
