Are ionic air cleaners effective for allergy to tree & plant pollen?
I'm in Florida and the air is full of pollens including lots of live oak. Is the ionic air cleaner effective in reducing allergic reaction? Are the filter types more effective?
It is controversial on google. I'm hoping to hear some personal experiences.
I am sure this will tick off the ionic breeze owners but here you go any way; as one other person suggested, do a google on it and see what you find. Consider this, these contraptions, in principle, generate positive ions that are released into the air,

So my boyfriend and I decided we should get the Ionic Pro, which is similar to the Ionic Breeze. Which seem to make sense because we didn't need to buy any filters for it ever. But as soon as we turned it on, my bf started to get dizzy, and chest pains.
